Tribute to Papa

There is a one famous saying, which goes like this "every father is his(her) child's first hero", same is the case with me too. He is my first hero and he will be forever. I have only one goal in my life, i.e. is to reach his level of wisdom. He is a man of character. He uses to tell me, truth is the only one path (wo)man has to take. In many ways his story is like a rags to riches, From unknown to most respected person in my village. He earned this respect, entirely by himself. He uses to play with kids like a kid, he conducts( sometimes he plays too ) games to adults and he participates in politics with elders. Simply he is a complete man.

I used to sleep on his abdomen, there are countless number of nights. I still love to do this :). I simply love this. Love you papa. In my child, he used to tell so many stories in which he is the hero and ghosts are villains, no heroines in those stories. Those stories are not typical mass masala stories, those are completely horror films.

As I know faith is the best gift, one child can get from his/her parents. My father gave me this gift, he has immense faith in me.

My entire life is based on two simple statements, which he told when I was a child
1. Every man is god, it means I too and ofcourse you too. So no need to preach unknown entity.
2. Serving the man, is serving the God(ultimate Supreme). It means I am preaching(serving precisely) unknown too.

My father uses to tell, there is only one way to achieve salvation in this world, that is through fearlessness. But I do not care salvation,I want to son of this man forever. Yeah till nor I did not even mention his name right, his name "Sir Chinna Narayana"(I gave knighthood to him :), for a matter of fact he deserved this title).

One month back papa told me, he is happy to have son like me. The greatest honour till now and it will be greatest forever. He told me this, because I am following my dreams and I am living my own life, not somebody else.

He uses to tell me, "one do not become brahmin, kshatriya, sudra by their birth, they will become one of three by their deeds"

My uncle( Venkatesh Panyam) and my master ( Hanumantha Rao Master ) as the same place in my heart as my father. This three persons are my three murthis. I will write, two more articles in this series one is about my uncle and one will be on Hanumantha Rao master.

It's honour to study under great professors like Srinath Sir(My best prof), Bera Sir( the best professor I ever met till now), Prasanna Sir & Ramani Sir( very nice professor ) and to sit besides classmates like

Surya: The man who follows his heart at any point of time, I still remember the night which I spent with him two years back in vizag before coming to IIIT Bangalore. I thought at that time it's impossible to meet his standards atleast in this life. In one word, he is great. He is the best of best at IIIT Bangalore.

Deepak: Most intelligent person I ever see. Fine thinker. Simply superb.

Balakrishna: Most dedicated man I ever see in my life

Raj Gopal: He taught me the importance of thinking and his appetite to reason and doubt is awesome.

Sherry: Broken heart, he taught me what are the consequences if we do not follow our heart. He is very geninune indiviual and very nice person. Friend of everybody ofcourse for me too.

Here is a list which I will remember for life time:

Mandar, Aditya, Srinivasa Reddy, Arvind, Pradeep, Uday, Raghava, Shubha, Sunanda, Sandeep, Ritesh and his company, Aparna ( ph.d student, Ramani Sir's student), Anenth. I am sure there are very nice persons and fantastic students. But this is my view of my world.

3 years back, Narayan Murthy was on my room wall but here he gave me his shakehand. I am not exciting for the celebrity status of Narayan Murthy. But I excited for my dreams. I just love him madly, I dreamed to be like him. Thanks to me in Director merit list(only in first semester but that's enough)

One thing for sure everybody at IIIT Bangalore are just awesome. I am just one more mortal like anybody else.
